Edzell village is situated approximately 5 miles from the A90 dual carriageway from Aberdeen to Dundee. It is well sign posted from the A90 in both directions.
On entering the village from the North, follow the high street and turn left into Inveriscandye Road by the bank and opposite the Tweed and coffee shop.
Arriving from the South through the arch, pass the Clock tower of Inglis Hall and take the next right by the bank and opposite the Tweed and coffee shop.
Alexandra Lodge stands on the corner facing you after 200 yards.
By Road
Dundee and Angus is served by an excellent network of roads and visitors have a choice of fast travel via motorway or dual carriageway links or the more relaxing tourist trails through Angus, Fife and Perthshire.
By Rail
Dundee's modern city centre station, is served by the East Coast line from London, which continues from Dundee to Aberdeen. Railway station stops are provided at Carnoustie, Arbroath and Montrose and local commuter trains run regularly from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Perth. By Air
Dundee is little more than an hour's drive from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Glasgow Airports, which all offer extensive services throughout Britain, Europe and beyond. If you are travelling by air, Dundee Airport is a few minutes drive from the city centre, and offers regular flights direct to London City Airport; flights between Dundee and Manchester, by Eastern Airways, will soon be open.
